State Highway Agency equipment fleets represent a significant capital investment, as do recurring fleet maintenance and operational expenditures. Efficient management of these vital assets can yield significant savings, improved performance and increased reliability. Technology is constantly advancing, as is Equipment Management Information Technology, presenting significant challenges for agency equipment professionals. For this reason, the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) has contracted with the National Center for Pavement Preservation (NCPP) to administer the Equipment Management Technical Services Program (EMTSP).

Joint Midwest / Northeast Equipment Managers Meeting – August 15 – 18, 2011 – Kansas City, Kansas.  Great Wolf Lodge, 10401 Cabela Drive, Kansas City, Kansas.
