Steve Olson joined AASHTO’s Engineering & Technical Services Division this week as an engineering management fellow.
The Colorado Department of Transportation has loaned him to AASHTO for this one-year fellowship. Olson most recently worked as CDOT’s pavement management program manager. His prior career background includes 13 years as a project engineer and project manager with CDOT. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University.
His responsibilities at AASHTO include assisting the subcommittees on maintenance, construction, and design as well as joint technical committees on projects. He can be reached at solson AT aashto.org or 202-624-3632.
